I’ve just decided to do my first half-marathon (I haven’t actually signed up yet, as entries don’t open until November, which is in two days, but still).
July 21, 2013, I’ll be doing the half as part of Run Melbourne. I did the 10km 2 years ago, and signed up the 10k this year, but couldn’t run it due to a seriously badly times stress fracture on my left foot.
This time though, I’ll be ready.
I have 8.5 months to prepare, which is basically enough time to do the entire Runner’s World ‘Run your first half’ program three times over.
I’ll be flying through this thing.
